Pete Though I’ve been listening to and loving the Long Ryders for more than 30 years, I didn’t discover Tom’s solo work until after he passed away, but I immediately enjoyed it. And I’ve only just realized that some of my favorite Long Ryders songs (Bells of August, Years Long Ago, A Stitch in Time) were his. I bought this album today to support Tom’s family, and to show my appreciation for everything he did, in the Long Ryders and on his own. He will be missed.

I knew Bob before he was 'Slim'. Then lost touch. Always followed him musically from Buzz Barker and the Atomic Bums to his solo work.
